Need some help with new memory

I just got a stick of 512 pc2700 DDR ram from crucial and i was installing it. Then i went to boost up the FSB speed from 133 to 166 and it said "overclock failed"...

i thought pc 2700 was suppose to suppoort 166 FSB without overclocking it? Correct me if I 'm doing anything wrong/stupid...
