Hey guys. I just bought myself a Chenming A2ESW Aluminum Case w/ side panel window. It came with 3 case fans. I bought another with a light to mount on the side panel window, and put one of the original case fans in front of the HDD rack to cool them.
Anyway, with all the fans in there, it's not overly bad for noise except for my Volcano 9 HSF, which is the noisiest component in my system. What kind of noise dampeners would be good to use? Or perhaps I should get a SLK-800 or SLK-900?
Another question is how should I mount my fans to suck/blow? (spare me the perverted jokes guys.... lol) There is one fan on the side panel (the one with the LED) and it's blowing air in. The one mounted in front of the hard drvies is blowing air in as well, to cool the drives. I have 2 fans on the back, one above the other, and they are both blowing air in and I know I should change that setup. If you have an overall better idea of what to do with this setup, please help me out.
I'm running an AXP 2400+ with ABIT NF7-S mobo. I need some advice to get the noise down because it's giving me a headache, and I think for an enthusiast I have a higher level of tolerance for noise than most I know, and that's pretty loud. lol
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
