Need some help with hibernation

I ordered a battery backup for our server here at work. I installed the software and connected it to the usb, but got an error saying I needed to enable Hibernation so it could go into that mode if the battery runs out while the powers out.

My problem is that theres only 200 megs free and windows needs another 400+ megs to enable hibernation. I've searched through windows for any files I can get rid of, but theres nowhere near enough expendable files.

We have a second drive that has plenty of room free on it. Is there any way to get windows to point to that drive for the hibernation file? A work-around of some type?

I found the hiberfil.sys file in the registry and changed the destination of it to the storage drive, but that didn't work. I've googled it, but no dice.

Thanks for any advice you might have.

So is this impossible? APC said they had no clue how to do it either. I was thinking a few registry tweaks would do the trick, but couldn't find any straight forward things that worked.

Found a way to clear up some room.

I lowered the amount of space windows could use for restore points and went into the system volume information folder. There were a bunch of restore point folders. I moved all but the most current one to the storage drive. That made enough room to enable hibernation.
