Need some help with ebay & cookies

I tried to sign on to ebay to pay for an item I won earlier today and I keep getting this message..."The browser you are using is rejecting cookies." I used Mozilla and I was able to sign into ebay and pay for the item but I don't know why my IE browser is messed up. My browser has been acting up for the last few days and I'm not sure what would cause this. I use yahoo for my home page and I have to reload it to see any new news and some forums I go into I have to reload to see any new posts. So far this hasn't happened on anandtech. I haven't changed anything to cause this. Since it has happened I did ebays troubleshooting and I have used windows update to try and fix the problem, it hasn't worked. Any ideas?
 
New problem, now when I close out the browser I have to sign into anandtech everytime I come back. I click the "remember" box and it doesn't remember me.

You may, I checked my Java installation at Javas web site and it said there was a problem so I updated it to the newer version and uninstalled the old version. I also emptied my cookies again and deleted my internet files and now I can get into myebay and I'm staying logged into anandtech. Maybe it's fixed? Everything seems fine now, I hope 🙂
