Need some help with DSL line

everyone i need some help i got a dsl line but my modem which is an alcatel wont detect it , the line sync wont get detected if anyone can help or if theres a way to use dsl without the line please email me or post here

Only winxp has native support for DSL, otherwise you have to install aditional software from your provider.

if there's a problem with the line, there's nothing you can do about it except call the dsl company to fix it!

That is just a stupid thing to say....

There are plenty of areas where overall DSL stomps cable. I know that in my hometown, Cable is so overloaded that people rarely go over 60K/s where DSL rocks it at 150K/s

It is all dependant on the area.
