Need some help with Dreamweaver 3.

I need to upload some files to a server, have the address, login name, and password but when I put the info to DW3, it doesn't work. The address is a domain, how would I find the FTP host (Which is what error I'm getting..) of it? I just need to delete the old files and replace them, but not quite sure how to do so. Help would be appreciated.

I use DreamWeaver 3 alot, but, unfortunately, I have never used in the built-in FTP feature. But, maybe if I bump you thread, somebody else might be able to answer.

you would put in the your website URL. It would be the same has the way you use an ftp program. Nothing hard.

I did put the url, but it says "An FTP Error occured - Cannot make connection to host"

So I'm stuck from there..

if you're using something like nbci...just type in something like 'ftp.nbci.com' or wherever it is suppose to go...login is your member name and pw is pw...and once you connect...just right click on your directory in the site manager and hit synchronize and it will do everything for you

I put the site address, name, and pw. Dunno what to put for host directory, but I don't think that'd do much.
