System type, whether or not it's overclocked, what the bus speed is set at, primary/secondar master/slave configuration, whether or not DMA is turned on, etc.
Oh yeah I was on the phone when I typed that not really thinking what I was doing. His burner is not overclocked. He is running a p3 800mhz system with 128 megs of ram. He just had it built for him so I am not really sure about the other configurations. I believe that the burner is set to slave. IT is an 8x burner, and the discs that he was using are memorex. I have no idea what type of burner he is using, cause he doesn't know. It was built by some local company.
Oh and something similar to that happened to my burner when I was using the same software (it just stopped burning at 3% and the computer froze). The problem with mine was that the buffer was corrupt; however, I had used my burner for about 300 burns before it died, and his has not been used that he knows of. Do you think that this could be the same problem with his? or something completely different?
