Need some help with an assignment, please!!!

I have this map assignment where I have to find the areas conquered by colonial powers in East Asia and SE Asia. Preferable in the 19th century. I can't find any maps online
I'd really appreciate it if you could help me find one!

I thought the internet was going to put all this information at our fingertips?
I was trying to find info and maps on the state of California for my son and it took about 10 to 15 minutes to find something useful.

...I will look around and see if I can find something.

yeah, i know.. but i did look around, and didn't find anything... it's kinda difficult (impossible?) to find a map of something so specific on the internet.. i'm not sure i understand the nature of the assignment though.. what's the point? is it just busy work to keep you searching for something?
