Need some help with a website layout

It's incredibly boring looking...the banner is quite empty but I'm not sure what to do with it. Any suggestions?

First off, use Lorem Ipsem. There's a lot I can't tell without it. Currently the text on the right is overpowering what is supposed to be the main points of interest for two reasons... one, there's actually something to read there, and two, the thick red line draws my eye more than a thin red line with one word over it and one word above it.

Second, an image in the header would help a bunch to draw the reader in better. The generic WWW image doesn't do anything for me.

The menu is in a really bad position. The default place is centered or on the left, below the header is essential. You are directing people to other pages of the site before telling them where they are at... and that's if they notice it! On a widescreen resolution (which is becoming increasingly popular) the menu will be so far out of the way that most users will miss it.

You have it aligned left and you have a lot of blank space on the right. Fix that by centering it or something. The right side of your site looks so lonely.

All good suggestions. There isn't an alignment problem, that's just how the SS turned out. =P

I added blank content because I had some entries already, but no one wants to read those. I didn't even consider Lorem Ipsum, woops. Here's the website, mind you, only the index works. Text

ugh i have the same trouble. my webpage is really blande. also considering i have no clue to what i am doing it kinda sucks.

I'm no photographer. 😉 I'll try to work on the things you suggest. As for the header...there's nothing to it, really. All it'll end up leading to is a contact page and my admin panel, so only one link will be usable by the public. But, if I can figure out something decent I'll give it a shot.
