Hi, It's been a few years since I built a system and I'm about to tackle a new one next week. I have purchased an Iwill KA266-R mobo but have a little difficulty following the manual. I can't figure out in what order I install the drivers and stuff like that. If you don't mind and want to type a little, I'd like a step by step list of instructions on how to set it up.

Also (and equally important):

These are my raid 0 questions. I'll be using winme, Iwill KA266-R mobo, 2x 20gig maxtor ide drives..

1. For Raid 0, what block size should I use? Or, if there are other "size parameters" to set, what should they be set at?

2. When formatting the drives do you need to use any special parameters such as:

FORMAT C: /Z:32

Or do you just use a standard format c: /s

If I do need to do a Format C: /Z:32, then do you do this on all partitions or just the C partition?

3. For the 2 drives that I will be using in Raid 0 should each be set as Master on their own channel, or should one be master and one slave on the same channel?

The Raid manual is a bit sketchy. It skips from creating the array to installing the os. It skips over how to partition/format. I can figure out how to partition, but to format do I need to use any special parameters as mentioned above?
