I did consider that. Unfortuantly, I don't think I can. I received a notice that my bill was ready just a day or so after I paid for the cards. When I checked my electronic statement, I saw my regular bill plus the money I had just spent on the cards. I went ahead and paid all of it. Do you know if I can still cancel the payment and if so, what are the consequences?

You can charge back even if you have paid your bill. Call your credit card company now.

it's interesting to actually see both sides in one of these arguments....
Unfortunately, mtg can't prove he sent the cards and bexar can't prove he doesn't have them.

I'm not a troll. I have +47 on EBay and +9 on Yahoo, all from sales. This is not the first or last time I will sell anything. In fact, I havee to put a Geforce3 up for auction soon.

These cards could NOT have been sold in any other auction, as I typed up the list DIRECTLY while looking at the cards (one by one, actually).

I specifically put the cards in one of my cardboard boxes, used some bubble wrap.

Here is the place in the box I put them (I remember because I was very careful).

All the commons and uncommons had been put in, and I had used a computer case box. It was long and skinny, and I still some room left in the side. I care fully placed the box into the empty space, and it pretty much filled it up. The extra space was filled with empty boxes and a motherboard box was placed in the extra room on top. I spent 2 hours packaging this, so I remember it.

KingCowe****@***.com is his email address. (deleted) THis is the email address of the person from the last auction.

The cards in question were not part of that auction. I acquired these 7000 cards afterwards, (otherwise, why wouldn't I have gotten rid of the 7000 while I had the chance? 7000 commons and uncommons are useless) and they included these 200 rares. This is an extremely pointless case.

I am a Magic card dealer licensed with my state.

Judging from the comments here, I am wasting my time trying to fix this, and bexar has no right to treat me the way he has.

Anyways, the best I can do right now (unless I find the cards, somehow) is refund the shipping as promised.

Keep in mind that you started the thread and "invited" bexar to it. And you should remove his email unless you have permission to display it.

I've decided to take my mind off this case. It is truly pointless without me being able to prove that I sent them, and him not being able to receive them. :(

I'm not aware of any state that requires a license to sell MtG cards. Do you mean you have some sort of resellers license? That's not a big deal at all. States want you to get one so you have a tax ID but anyone can get one.

You are right. There is no way for either party to prove what they're saying.

I am still trying to work this out. I know it is probably pointless, but I thought I might as well offer a compromise. I suggested that he refund all of the money for the cards that I did not get and we call this entire thing finished. I made this offer since in an e-mail to me, he stated: "I DO believe that you don't have the cards, but the truth is, I have looked and looked again and have found nothing." With that in mind, I cannot see a valid reason for not taking my offer. He will eventually find the cards and will be able to re-sell them. I had to give him a deadline though. Too many of my e-mails have gone unanswered.
