Need some help recovering password for USB key

I just found one of my old usb drives..it's password protected and I can't figure out what I had put as the password..

tried using the forgot password but all it says is that it needs to be erased. I want to check what's on it first before I erase the files. Is there a way to get into it or some kind of program that will get all the info of it.. It's a Sandisk Cruzer 2gig Micro drive

Any help would be appreciated.
