I recently put together and new computer rig. After initially getting it running, I started to run into some problems so I decided to do reformat and start over. I'm using an Abit KR7A, with a Leadtek Geforce3 TI200, and Athlon 1700+ After I decided to reinstall everything again, it looks like something is wrong with the video card now. The image is corrupted (weird colors with lines in them) and the desktop is displayed in 4 bit at the lowest resolution. No matter what I change the settings to, it automatically reverts back to the old, corrupted image. And when I try installing the latest Detonator drivers for Windows XP, I get BSOD and restart. My old TNT2 Ultra works fine w/o a hitch. I can apply the latest Detonator drivers and don't run into the similar lockups I did with the Geforce3 TI200. Does it sound like I should just get an exchange on the video card or is there something else I can try.
