Need some help pluggin this headset

Hi I just started using this headset and need a little help getting it to work.

I have a X-Fi and I'm not sure where to plug in the mic. I plugged the black wire into the 2nd port off the right side and I'm getting sound, but I haven no clue where to hook up the mic wire. I tired them all and my friend still can't hear me...

also which program can I use to configure all this? something in windows I can use?

Check your sound settings and make sure you don't have the system trying to push out 5.1 suround sound. Otherwise all the rear audio connectors will be dedicated for outputing sound. If the connectors are in the right configuration then the pink jack is for your mic. Also check the sound settings to make sure the system isn't trying to look for the mic input from the onboard sound.
