O.K heres my System specs and config first.
pent3 800eb
128mb corsair registered 133 sdram
asus cusl2 bios version 1002
ibm udma 100 30 gig harddrive= primary mastery
ibm old 8 gig hardrive= Primary slave
toshiba dvd rom = secondary master
creative cdrw 6*4*24= secondary slave
asus 7700 deluxe 32mb
diamond mx 300
supermicro 760a case with 300w redundent cooling power supply
win 98
Now i have 2 problems at the moment and maybe their related.
First problem is when i first turn on my computer the screen is unreadeable it looks like really crazying.So i then turn off the power and turn on the computer right away the screen then looks fine but then in bootup screen i seethat it said my processor is a pent 3 400e.Then it kicks me to the bios to the advanced menu after the meory check.
There it says "During last boot-up your systemhung for an improper cpuinternal frequency setting.Your system is now working in safe mode.To optimize the system perfermance and reliability make sure the cpu internal frequency conforms to the specs of your cpu".
But it has my processor as 800.So i change nothing and exit the bios it reboots everything is now fine but it does this everytime i start my computer anybody have any clue why?
Any tips and help would be nice.
Note i have nothing overclocked.
Now my second problem is in the bios in hardware power it gives me these readings.
vcore=4.08
+12v=16.32
+5v=6.85
+3.3=3.69
-12v= -16.21
-5v= -6.14
Also i get around the same readings in pc probe in windows.Can this be right?Should i be worried not sure what this means.
