Going to buy some PC2100 for my system -- Crucial sells two kinds "Non-parity" and "ECC." What's the difference and which on is better? System is a MSI 6366 with a 1GHz PIII.

Congrats on your choice of RAM. "ECC" stands for Error Correcting, which is slower than non-parity RAM. For most purposes, including office work and gaming, you don't realy need ECC, as it is more expensive and is slower (since it corrects errors).

Hope this helps!

actually they sell three kinds the third being registered ecc. which is also slower than unbuffered ecc i think, since it's supposed to delay things by one click cycle.
