Need some help installing Radeon drivers...

This is getting weird and I have no idea what the problem is.

I'm trying to install the updated Radeon drivers (3063).

Everytime I run the setup, I get the frickin error:

"Setup was unable to complete installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup."

I've tried it... I've uninstalled the current Radeon drivers and on a Standard VGA driver... still get the same crap error.

Anyone know what the heck is wrong?

Currently running on WinME and AIW Radeon.
 
This is a known problem with the one of the inf files that the drivers deposit in your system.

If I am not mistaken, this link at the Rage3d.com forum should solve your problems. I would suggest that if you have other issues with the Radeon that you go to the Rage3d Radeon forum for help as I have found this forum increasingly useless if one is trouble shooting anything other than a geForce card... 😉
