ok, so lets say you have 2 JK flip flops. JK(a), and JK(b).
We have
J(a) = B
K(a) = BX\
J(b) = X\
K(b) = AX\ + A\X
What Im having trouble is how the book is getting derviing the State Table.
| Present State | Input | next State|
0 0 | 0 | 0 1
00 | 1 | 0 0
01 | 0 | 1 1
01 | 1 | 1 0
10 | 0 | 1 1
and so on. I understand the present state, and the input state, but I have no idea on how they get the next state. The book says to look at the flip-flop Characteristics table, and I can fill it out. But I really have no idea. I've looked at the characteristics table, but I just dont' see on how it relates to the 1 & 0's in the next state.
Can someone help?
