Need some help if you know SCSI adapters

We have a new server (a Dell, if you're reading this Dameon) and need a SCSI adapter to hook up our old 8mm autoloader. All we know is that an Adaptec 2910C would be the right adapter to use (Fast SCSI2, 50-pin connector). Sadly, that is no longer being sold.

Does anyone know what current Adaptec card would work? Searching their site (which I've been doing for quite some time) does not present a clear answer.

We're using NT4, and would like an Adaptec card primarily because we have had good luck with them (and the drivers).

TIA.

Almost any adaptec card would work with an adapter, but it looks like the 29160N would be good for you since it has the 50 pin external connector, plus will let you connect internal U160 drives later if you want. However, if you already have SCSI in your server you can get an adapter cable that will let you use it for your autoloader.

Thanks a lot, Wizkid. I'm going to see if I can find the right cable somewhere. That's a lot easier than fooling with a card.
