Went to an Mpeg website last night and got hammered by popups, they changed my homepage, and put loads of gambling and adult icons on the desktop, real pain in the A$$. Guys have spoken to me about internet erasers, do you know of a good one?

Thanks for the suggestions. However though, it doesn't seem that these programs will fix his problem, only prevent it in the future.

Ad-aware actually removes existing spyware components that it knows about, so it's a potential solution assuming that he's installed one of the Trojans in their database.

Prepare to become their personal unpaid tech support in the future if you solve this one.
