Need some help finding an electrical connector.

What I need is something that can be used as a quick-connect/quick-disconnect for wire.

I'm working on a light bar and I need to run some wire through the roof and down into the dash, etc.

I would like to have a connector on each wire (power/ground) on the roof that can be quickly disconnected should I need to just take the whole light bar off.

It would need to be something that would be waterproof as rain and snow could get in it otherwise and that would be bad.

I found some insulated spade connectors, but not sure how good of a seal they provide, and I need stuff for 10 guage wire and they didn't have any at any of the auto places I went to.

Any ideas?

I use a 2 prong male/female hitch connectors in my kayak to connect my GPS/Fishfinder to the battery. It's waterproof so it'll work well for you. I forgot the exact name for it but you can find it at Pepboys for 3 or 4 bucks in the electrical aisle.

Just stroll through your local auto parts store and pick out something that is in a style you like. I could go through a catalog and come up with literally hundreds if not thousands.

Edit:
an alternative would be to stroll through a pick'n'pull junk yard with a pair of cutters and clip one of them.

I went through 3 places yesterday looking and found nothing but the standard crimp stuff.

The weatherpack connectors are good .. they are what GM uses from the factory. And the link posted by Demon is to
the entire Delphi connector catalog .. If you can't find them locally, any GM dealer can order them (but it would be a bit
higher at the dealer) ... and you need a good quality crimp tool for open barrel terminals.
