Hi everyone.
I Need a bit help complete/improve and confirming my coming i7 computer.
I actaully started my hardware ?adventure? few weeks ago so I am pretty beginner to all this yet. So I'm first time builder and need mostly everything.

1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
- Primary multitasking with regular program like mailbox, couple of browser windows, music program, office spyware programs etc. General performance in daily use in Vista (fast response and booting and so on)
- Video editing for DVD?s, portable media players. Picture editing. (slightly more heavy jobs.)
- Medium gaming: Don?t need to run games like Crysis on all at maximum at all, because it will unlikely be I will try out that game. But need to run games like WoW, Race Drive: Grid, NFS series, GTA IV on 1920 x 1200 smooth.
- WLAN

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
Around 1600 $ I expecting, but no more than 1800 $.

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
Europe, with possibility shipment to Denmark. I will not buy from my own country, either from USA.
Perhaps from nearby countries like UK or Germany. Like those places but don?t know where to go at the moment. Perhaps you know something here guys?

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.
I?m not a ?fanboy? of any kind when comes to that.
But want to keep around Intel i7 system and the Thermalright cooler below. A WLAN card and card reader are also needed to be included.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Logitech Z-5500 Surround speakers.

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Searched and read few reviews, threads and guides on other sites and here.
Have also joined a local forum to find the right hardware below but want to be sure what I?m doing.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Yes, ?Ready for overclocking? with that Thermalright Ultra-120 below.

8. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Within the next month or two.

I already have an idea what I need but not all.
Most important of them I need a monitor but I?m pretty confused what to get here. People choice lots of different screens for same type of use.

Just at least I know my needs above.
So very good response time for handling the fast racing games, good colors too for picture editing.
1920x 1200, sounds like 24? Price limit is 400 $

This my current list

Case: Antec P182 (still searching what fit best for my needs. Going for a case with great cooling performance and carry my hardware but not full tower.
I just don?t find front doors anything than trouble like on this case. Antec Nine hundred Two looks great too and no door but doesn?t have power LED and hard drive activity LED? :/

If you look at the 902 manual here:

link

Scroll to the bottom of page 7. The case has a HDD activity LED, but no power LED. The fan LEDs serve as the power LEDs.

Thanks. Just couldn't find out if Antec did place those at all because no reviews or the specs I?ve read didn't cover that much. I think I will pick this one instead then.

Seems like you have most of your stuff in place. Just one thing stood out for me:

Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme-1366-RT
Thermalright LGA1366 Bolt-Thru-Kit for Ultra 120

Why do you want the bolt-thru kit if you're getting the TRUE 1366-RT? I have the same exact cooler and it already has the 1366 bolt-thru in the package.

For monitor, I've been looking at the Samsung ToC T26HD for $400 after rebate from Amazon. It's 26" with 1920x1200 and has component input and DTV tuner built-in.

If so it's properly a mistake. I was actually a little bit wondering why I needed that thing besides.
Also by my local store description it says it's in the package.
Nice found. Thanks

A note on monitor I forgot. I have limit space where I am planning to use it, especially I have only about 19,3 inch in heights. That one is just too big for qualify but thanks anyway.
Because of that I don't really want go more than 24?. TV tuner is not that required. Already have one in same room.
