Need some help ATOT

Ok, so I need an answer to a difficult question...

Do I go home for the three day weekend leaving tomorrow, going home to see my girlfriend and have fun, go snowmobiling and see some friends?

OR

Do I stay and go to class and then sit around for the weekend helping a friend move and doing pretty much nothing?

The catch is I will miss three classes tomorrow psych 201, match, and Writing. I can turn in the work that I need to and my psych class is just note taking.

So what do I do?

are you kidding? i looked for excuses to miss class. i saw a bug on my window once and that was my reason for not going. the girlfriend didnt approve too much but it was reason enough for me.

i voted to go and have some fun... but only because i am taking it for granted that this is not the normal type thing you do often and that your grades are good.

My grades are good and I am turning over a new leaf this term, being more responsible. I have never missed a whole day except when I was sick.

Does anyone think it looks bad that I don't show up to math in the first week? I have attended the other classes this week already but this will be my first time in math this week, I won't be behind so I guess it can't hurt.

listen as long as the classes are easy go for it. i missed the last month and a half of psych and aced the class. some classes ya just dont need to attend (there mostly the large lecture ones)

truthefully the only thing that I am worried about is the instructor dropping me from the class, I know that most of my other instructors take attendance in class, I haven't been to the math class yet so I don't know if the instructor will or not, I just hope they don't drop me, will they do that if there is no wait list?

Sorry to be the wet blanket, but my vote goes for attending class & helping your friend move.

Just so I can get a variation, can I ask why you suggest that? Just wondering.

Because your friend likely needs the help moving & you shouldn't be skipping classes this early in the semester because it will look bad IMO.

I was the guy who always studied, went to class, and worked when everyone else was out partying in college. If I had to do it over again, I would have worked less and partied more.
