HI
As per thread title, I am stressed about setting opening bids for some of the [good] prizes that we got for an charity auction. As a principle, do I start low [relative to the "real" price] and ramp up quickly or do i start below but close to the retail values?
For example:
1. Signed Silver Adidas Football
2. Liverpool Football Kit
3. Creative Zen Nano Plus MP3 Player (£60)
4. Signed Lancashire Cricket Bat
5. Galleon Gym Membership (£200)
6. Virgin Trains First Class Pass for 2 people (£200+)
7. Samsung E900 Mobile Phone
8. Gold Jewellery Set (£300)
9. Studio Photo Shoot (£300)
10. Divine Delights Home Make-over (£250)
11. Deluxe Make-up Hamper [male] (£500)
12. Deluxe Make-up Hamper [female] (£500)
13. Barcelona all expenses paid Blind Date
14. Helicopter trip from Manchester to London/ shopping at Harrods/ fly to Paris for Dinner: 24 hour Date
Help/advise greatly appreciated!
