Was thinking of posting this at the Video Cards forum but thought it might be related to oc.

So got my rig now oc'd to 450x8.5. All stress tests have passed except 1 - Crysis GPU benchmark. The VPU resets itself after a few minutes. I tried playing Crysis and does the same thing. It's complaining about a dx9 file in all instances.

The problems happened when I had the 4850 oc'd to 690/1138. I had this setting with my E5200 also oc'd and it was working perfectly fine.

PCI-E Clock is locked to 100.

So I thought I'd revert it back to Sapphire's stock settings: 625/993 and so far it's working fine.

Now I upgraded to Q9550 recently and also installed HR-03 GT.

I wouldn't think it's GPU temp-related since it idles in the low 40s and loaded maxes out in the low 70s while playing Crysis.

Has anyone seen this problem before? Related to my oc settings of the Q9550? I'm hoping, totally hoping the 4850 is not fried. Guess not since I've been playing Crysis for more than an hour now {not normally :) just for testing} at with the Q9550 even at 475x8.5 and HD4850 at 625/993 and it's rock solid.

MCH not enough, etc? Maybe need some Quad-specific settings for it to work well?

Please help!!! Thanks in advance
