Im getting a new case with a 300w supply in a week and have everything else I need. I just need to know kind of step by step what to do in what situation that may arise. I have the bios kt7ul.exe downloaded, but cant get the flash utility for some reason. Can someone attach it to a reply or post a link?

I will be attempting a raid 0 setup with a 20gb and 15gb hdd (yes i know, only 30gb), and I would like some tips or suggestions on what to expect here as for setting it up and getting windows installed (98 or Me, well see how I feel that day).

Plus any bios settings that I should make mandatory would be helpful too, and exactly how to go about flashing the bios.

Thanks in advance

The first thing I would do, especially if the MB is new, is make sure you actually
need the BIOS update. And check to see that the update is something worth having.

I just built a system with the KT7-Raid as well. The BIOS is listed as the UL BIOS so I didn't see the need to upgrade.

The flash utility comes on the Abit CD-Rom with the motherboard. Abit has a new beta UZ bios out now and I'm using it fine so far.

You will need the latest Highpoint drivers for the raid controller. I get them from Highpoint-Tech.

I posted a reply for another guy about a couple tips and whatnot with using the HPT370 RAID on the KT7-RAID. I don't feel like writing it all out again, so I'll just post the URL.
