Need some good sites with info on MiniDV Cameras

I have a friend who's spending some time in Korea this year, he offered to pick up a miniDV camera for me if I was interested in one while he was there. I'd like to get one, but I'm pretty green on the different brands/features/prices/etc. Is there a good website that compares the different models and has reviews of them? I tried google, but most of the pages I got were retailers selling the cameras, I'd like to get some more unbiased reviews if possible.

minidv = camcorder. dpreview doesn't review camcorders...(I wish Phil did)

I've never seen a great camcorder review site but here are a few:

I don't know why there aren't any great camcorder review sites when you have 3 or 4 great digital camera review sites...

be careful buying any electronics overseas due to warranty issues, sometimes the warranty is only good for the country it is purchased in (as in 'gray market' cameras), so check that out before buying there....repairs on camcorders are expensive!
