Moving in with my GF in September, and will be without the internet for awhile. What are some good single player games I can grab to keep myself occupied? I like company of heroes, and BF2 a lot. Are there any good shooters lately? How are the newer call of duty games?

Open to suggestions! Thanks guys

If you like Company of Heroes (which I love), you may want to try Men of War. The voice acting is horrible but the game is good albeit pretty hard. It is like Company of Heroes, but you can control each soldier individually.

Not sure if you have played Call of Duty 4 but that has fun single and multiplayer.

Men of War
Call of Duty 4
Fallout 3
Baldur's Gate series (maybe?)

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty: World at War
F.E.A.R + Expansions
F.E.A.R 2
Men of War
Commandos 2: Men of Courage

If you haven't played Call of Duty 2, then definitely play it. Awesome game.

COD4 has a pretty short campaign, but I think it is done very well. I can't remember if the PC version has it, but I had a ton of fun doing the arcade mode in single-player on the 360 version with some friends. I believe you unlock it after you beat the game. Tons of replay value trying to break your high scores and stuff... if your into that sort of thing.

I loved the COD4 single player campaign. Yeah, it was short, but it definitely held my attention. The action is mostly run from place to play shooting targets (don't expect puzzles, jumping challenges, weird and unique weapons, etc.), but I really enjoyed the story that unfolds.

If you're pretty good at FPS games, I highly suggest playing on at least the 2nd highest difficulty. That's how I started out, and it made the game much more enjoyable. I got stuck for a while at a few parts, but it made it so I couldn't breeze through in a day or two. If you play it on easy mode first and go back for hard mode later, you'll already know what to expect. It sort of kills the atmosphere.
