Need Some good Playsation 2 games, especially a nice FPS

I finally got my PS2 hooked up in my dorm and am going to buy some games. The only thing I've bought for it in the last year was probably GTA:SA. I'm going to pick up Madden 2005 used as well as Metal Gear 3. I have GT3: A-spec so I probably don't need GT4. I need a good mutliplayer shooter (like Halo) for NON-online play. I have Red Faction, but there must be something better out? any suggestions?

Yeah, i guess this could go in the software/apps forum...

Anyway, why are there no split-screen mutiplayer first person shooters for the PS2 anymore?!?! All of the top rated FPS released in the last 12 months that seem to interest me have only online play at best:

Project: Snowblind
Mercenaries
SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs

Does no-one like split screen shooters anymore? Any HALO like games out there for the PS2?
 
OK,

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing or Freedom Fighters might be good. Both have the spilt-screen shooting I'm looking for.

Truth, that game is top tier.

For an FPS, though... I've personally been a fan of Call of Duty 2: Big Red One lately. I've been playing it on my Xbox, but I'm sure it's more or less the same thing on ps2.

Yeah, I know FPS are better on the PC. That is why I'm looking for split screen action so I can just sit with my friends. I'll use a PC for any real FPS online play. Anyway, here is a list of potential games,

Mutiplayer Shooter(non-online/split screen available):

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing

Mutiplayer (online or 2 player) general:

Madden 05 or 06
Burnout 3
Tekken 5

Single Player but still fun:

Project: Snowblind
Mercenaries
SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs
Metal Gear 3
God of War

any cheap places for games? I'll probably go down to the local game shop for used games, but i think i saw some good deals at black friday, there might be a few left. Or, would eBay or Amazon be good? I would have to pay shipping though.
