Alright, i've come up with a huge list of PC games i'm considering, and i need the best of these:

Witcher-
Combat Wings: BoB(tried the demo and liked it)
Titan Quest gold pack
Battle for Middle Earth Anthology pack
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2
Far Cry 2
Mass Effect
COD: WaW
Fable Lost Chapters
Fallout 3
Stalker clear sky
Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl
Kane's wrath(i have CNC3, just not this)
Brothers in arms Hells highway
Supreme Commander gold pack
2 worlds
Halo 1
Devil May Cry 4
ID Super pack on steam($70)
Valve complete pack on steam($100)

Now, obviously i can't get all of these, seeing its ~$800 worth of games, so i need the absolute best choices to get. Which of these should i absolutely remove from the list?

My top three from your list there:
1. Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl - absolutely love the setting, storyline, gameplay (even with the bugs). Clear Sky is also fun, but doesn't live up to the original.
2. Mass Effect - more like starring in a great sci-fi movie than playing a game. Top-notch production values.
3. Fallout 3 - I think they did a great job delivering a post-apocalyptic experience with some humor thrown in. Opinions greatly vary on this one.

Honorable mentions:
-Witcher
-Titan Quest gold

Alright, narrowed it down to this:

Witcher- $40
Combat wings: BoB- $20
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2- $20
Mass Effect- $40
Fallout 3- $50
Kane's Wrath- $20
Far Cry 2- $50(liked the PS3 version which i rented after playing it a second time, is the PC version stable or buggy?)
Sup Com: $30
2 worlds- $20
STALKER shadow of chernobyl- $20

Titan Quest got knocked out due to the demo not installing

Out of that list I'd pick:
Fallout 3
Sup Com (gold pack still?)
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl

Also keep in mind the DRM some games have, Mass Effect being a good example with a 3 install limit (I forget the system limit) and requires you have a internet connection for online activation. A quick search on google usually brings up the dirt.

Mass Effect + Fallout 3 are the greatest games there IMO. Also, Fable: The Lost Chapters is really good and can be bought cheap these days.

Honorable mention: Titan Quest Gold Pack

Edit: Titan quest demo didn't work for me off Steam either. I bought the Gold Pack anyways and it works perfectly.

only thing i dont like about fallout 3 is the reported bugs and crash-happiness.... every single game bethesda has made has had bugs in it(i've only played morrowind, but its very crash-happy) from what i hear, oblivion and fallout 3 are crash-happy as well.
