Trying to get in the IT field but looks like most companies are asking for 3-5yrs. exp. I have been studying it for quite some time. I have my AA in Information technology (networking). What certs do I need. I'm looking at the MCP. Some people are telling me that A+ won't get me far. What books do you recommed me reading and any other info will be great.
 
An A+ won't get you far, but neither will an MCP. The AA helps, though. You'll just have to start low and work your way up, but of course that's just a generalization about the IT industry as a whole. There's always opportunities out there, you just have to get lucky.
