Need some Far Cry help

I downloaded the file and instructions for how to enable cheats in Far Cry, and I've already replaced the DevMode.lua with the one in the download, but in the instructions it says:

Now Start game by adding the '-devmode' parameter, in game

I?m not sure how to do this. Can anyone help?

I'm really sure that everyone will agree with me when i say that all you do is:

1...Go to Start\all programs\UBISOFT\Far Cry, create a shortcut of the Far Cry Play icon and send it to your destop.

2..now right click on the far cry shortcut and click properties.

3...Now it should open up a window that says shortcut,if it doesn't click the tab shortcut.

4...All you do from here is add '-devmode' exactly as it is in the line "Start in" after the

"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Crytek\Far Cry\".... but make sure you leave out the " .

Ok, I tried that and it keeps giving me an invalid director error. What should the line look like before I click Apply?

I've tried the '-devmode' in every location I can thing of, and it won't work.

Located under target in the properties. NOT Start in

Thats a copy and paste, so keep it just like that
