Need some decorating suggestions

Alright, this is my first place, so I need some tips from others.

Pic1

Ok, I have one BW pic on the left there, should I put another one on the right? And would it look tacky if I had color pics in my living room or should I just stick to BW for the living room? Also, I want to stick with scenery pics, anyone know a place where I could find some decent ones for cheap?

Pic 2

One pic, two pic, three little pics? Leave open?

Pic 3

See that little cubby that can have a light shine down on it? Yeah, what should I put in that? Should I put anything on the sides of the walls?

Pic 4

Anything on the sides or leave it open?

Pic 5

Again, anything on the walls there, or will it make it look even more cluttered then it already is?

Pic 6

White board is going to be moved to another wall that's not pictured so I can use it. Was thinking, for my room I would like to do colored scenery pics. I already have two that are colored, but they don't have frames. Would tacks or nails really look stupid?

Pic 7

Blurry pic, sorry! Still getting use to my new camera. Ok, so again, leave it open or put something there?

Apprieate all the input, basically was thinking this..

BW scenery pics for the living room
Colored scenery pics for the bedroom

ok, is that "crackle" paint on the walls? i would get rid of that first... a new wall color makes a huge difference and with a great red on the walls will make B&w photos just pop.

Simplify things to have a few (one or two) main focal points in the rooms.
For the bedroom, color scenery is nice, i always liked something with a little bit of sensuality in photos and movement along with the scenery.

I would like to suggest more, but the photos are kind HUGE!!!

I rent so paint color really isn't something I can change. And the crackle paint looks good to me, granted I've only had white walls for paint for the past 21 years.

What about using tacks and nails in the bedroom for haning pictures? Have two unframed color scenery pics is the thing.

I would like to help you, but between the paint color - and the lighting - I couldn't stand to live in the place.

But that is just me. If you like it, good for you. (Not as sarcastic as it probably sounds.)
