OK, I?ll try to keep this as short as possible.
History:
I sold a 6600GT Extreme on eBay on 1-23-05. It ended for 237.50, but newegg sells them for 214 new. Why he bid that I don?t know, but he did. I then sent him the total and everything else and he was all excited and said he was going to send the money out the next day. A week past and I didn?t hear from him so I sent him an email asking if he got the money out and if there was a tracking number, he said the money did go out, but he used Canada Post and they couldn?t give him a tracking number but it should be to me in a couple days. Then another week pasted and I emailed him again and he said sometime Canada Post was slow so give it another day or so. Then the third week came around and I emailed him and told him it wasn?t here and to go and have the money order tracked and see where it ended up. He said he would go to his bank the next morning and see what he could get done. Another week pasted and I emailed him and he said that his bank was tracking it and it would take up to 28days, so at the end of the 28 days they would cancel that money order and give him a new one.
Question:
Is Canada Post really that slow? And can they give you a tracking number to the US?
I don?t think he ever sent any money, does any one else? I know if I sent a money order for 245 bucks to someone I would email them everyday to see if it has made it to them. He has not emailed me once other than to ask for the total for FedEx shipping.
How long would you wait to file the non payment complaint with eBay? I don?t want to wait to long, because the card is only depreciating, but If I can get 240 out of him for it them I would like to get his money, and if I file the non payment then he is written off for good. I have up until 45 days to file the complaint; it has been roughly 25 so far.
Thanks
kd
