I'm already aware of that KB patch, that's what my entire thread is about.

The AMD crossfire problems were only spotted by a few users. Many were arguing that crossfire was just fine and smooth and they had no problems, the majority in fact (on these forums). Then the pcper article came out and then everyone else confirmed the problem, then AMD fixed it and finally most of the majority could see the difference with the new driver.

The sad reality is that when it comes down to acceleration, sampling speed etc issues that only a few people are actually able to notice. The majority are happy even though its broken, they cant tell the difference. They think they can but the can't. It was broken, it isn't broken now as far as I know, but I am still on W8 because of it and intend to do a clean reinstall at some point now its resolves.
