Need some ASUS P4P800 Deluxe help urgently!!

For some reason I cannot seem to install the 3Com 3C940 controller drivers on the ASUS P4P800 Deluxe. I'm sure I'm missing something here but cannot for the life of me work it out....tired prolly...
 
Probably corrupt drivers. Download them from 3Com's website. Go into Device Manager and uninstall them - re-boot and when they are found again install the fresh drivers. It would help if we knew what the OS was and the error messages that you are getting.

Now if its Linux - it appears there may be a problem with the drivers themselves. The above does not apply.
 
Thanks for taking the time to answer. It would appear that after a complete new installation of WinXP and Sp1/2 everything is back to normal. Possibly a conflick somewhere but wasn't identified. 😉
