Need some advice

New system comes in next week

I have the option of going With Windows ME or Win2k pro.

My concerns are:

1. Which will handle 256+ M Ram better?
2. Driver support, is 2k pro as good as ME for current hardware (have nothing older than SB live) and is hardware and drivers going to be a problem if I chose Win 2k pro?
3. Being primarily a gamer.... IS their any advantage to Win 2k pro or should I be be just stickin with Win ME and not worry about it ?

JUst concerned as to which is going to be more efficient and offer me better speed and preformance. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Win2K all the way. There's no need for WinMe. I'm running Win2K Adv Server and i can still play any game that you can imagine. Stability is a big issue for me. If you want stability, get Win2K, maybe you will lose "few" fps in Win2K, but its definitley worth it.

Definitely get Win2k. Driver glithces are rare, esp. if you have good hardware. Its a hundred times more stable that ME and offers better features & security.

Go for W2K. It is far more stable and you will only lose very little in gaming perfomance. With the amount of ram you have the only option is W2K because of the memory management. It will make much better use of it.
