Hi all, I'm going to build new PC soon, I'm going to use Intel E8400.
I will only use this pc to play games..
Is it worth buying the E8500 now?
Will the next upcoming games will be multi-threaded?
Because I see that most of the processor nowadays have more than 2 cores..
Or may be should I wait for the upcoming Intel's processor which will be launched in the end of this year?
Any sugesstion will be very appreciated..
Thanks in advance..

For now, dual cores are still the go. In 1 or 2 years time, I think quads will start pulling ahead as games become more multi-threaded. In fact its already starting, the UT3 engine takes advantages of quads but its often too GPU limited to tell :/, Sup Com, FSX, CoH and GRID also take advantage of quads, Crysis does too to a smaller extent.
