Ok, here's the deal. I bought components for two new machines for my home office. These will be used for light office work. Very little to no gaming. The components I purchased are 2 Sempron 2300+, a Epox 8RDA3I and a MSI K4M mobo and yada yada. I was planning on putting the Epox in my main pc, and putting the old MSI K2M with one of the new Semprons. Well, the K2m it will not support 333fsb. It will have to use the 2200XP. or either use the sempron and not get the fulladvantage of it. What wopuld be the most advantageous:
1. Leaving the 2200XP in my main pc and switching motherboards to the Epox
2. Putting the sempron 2300+ with 333fsb and the Epox in my main pc
3. Using the Sempron in the older K2M board, and just running it at the lower FSB
I'm leaning towards number 2. My main goal is to give a little boost to my main pc, I dont really care about the two office machines being speed demons. Thanks for your help.
