Ive been reading the forums for a while but havent posted, but now im in some need for a bit of advice.
Im looking to upgrade from my current Athlon processor and I've decided on a new P4 with HT and the 800mhz FSB, that was the easy part.
I need to know what you guys would consider a great P4 board at the moment. I was seriously considering an Intel 865, as ive read favorable reviews and it seems to have a lot of expandability, which is a definite plus.
Edit: To add to this, I would also like to know if anybody has any feedback on Abit's IS7 mobo.
Also, i was hoping to pick up a gig of 3200 or 3700 Ram, and ive also read a lot of good things about Buffalo's modules, as they seem to perform exceedingly well for the price, which is always a plus!
