Need some advice on some new DDR memory!

I agree with Dug. If I am into maximum performance, (which I am 😉 ) I would go with the RAM that is guaranteed to hit the advertised speed with no questions asked to RMA it if it does not. For the price difference, it is not worth taking a chance with the Samsung just to see if it will dance at the OC you desire.

I have a 512MB stick of Corsair XMS 3200 Rev. 2.1 (Winbond chips) that runs at a 214FSB CAS2.
 
I'm a big Corsair fan myself. I have 2 sticks of xms2400 and they both run 166 (highest I've taken it) at the most aggressive settings my 8KHA+ can take them. I don't think I'll ever buy anything else. 🙂
 
Ok, i'v emade my decision! I'm going to get the Corsair. I know they will hit the OC speeds im looking for and have room for even more. Samsung seems to make great memory, but not pre-tested or guaranteed to OC. Thanks to everyone that posted. Your opinions were greatly appreciated 🙂
