Need some advice on E6600 overclocking

Hi!

Just need some advice as I am a bit worried if this is ok.

I finally got my E6600 clocked to 3.2ghz 356x9 and +0.1V DDR2 and 1.4V Vcore.

However, I am getting temps of around 49-51 celcius idle and around 60-62 at 100% during PRIME95 test.

I am wondering if I should lower the Vcore (but I found that lowering it makes little difference to the temp unless I go below 1.35 but OC is not PRIME stable) or is the current temps acceptable?

Also, I accidently loosen the NB heatsink (GIGABYTE EP35C-DS3R) but I managed to somehow made it stick back to the chip without it moving about. Does this affect anything? If it does, is there any guides out there to replace the NB heatsink for my mobo as I am a noob 🙁

I've been reading up on e6600 and my notes say you are ok. In fact I wrote 62c is a good upper limit with plenty of head room.

yeah you should be fine, I get temps of around 45-55C Idle and 100% load temps in excess of 70C...and the bloody thing still doesn't die.
