Need some advice on buying a camcorder

I know there are some people around here who are very knowledgeable when it comes a/v products so I thought I'd ask for some advice on a camcorder. I just finished reading the reviews on the camcorders in my price range on Amazon, but most of them are posted by soccer-mom types and thus are suspect. The ones I've narrowed my selection down to from Amazon are:

Canon ZR80 MiniDV

Canon Elura 80 MiniDV

Canon ZR200 MiniDV

JVC GRDX77

Now I don't know much more about these things than the soccer moms, never having owned one, so if these aren't that great and/or there are better cameras out there I'm game. I am looking for something that performs well in low light (indoors at night with a few lamps on). I'm not really concerned much with other features unless you know of something that I should be interested in. Thanks in advance for any help you all can give me on this.

Well, I picked up a Sony DCR-TVR30 on ebay for under 200 a while ago... Its been GREAT. The camera used to retail for $1500ish. Check out... www.camcorderinfo.com

I can give you some sample videos if you're seriously interested, just PM me.

For lower end camcorders, it seemed like panasonic cleaned up on most review sites I looked at for anywhere from $300 up to $600 if I remember proper. I'd check out their line.
