Need some advice on a new system build

Well, currently this is what I'm running:

Shuttle SB75G2
P4 3.2 Ghz
Sapphire X800 XT Platinum Edition
SB Audigy 2
1 GB Crucial PC3200
80 GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9
300 GB Seagate 7200.8 Barracuda

I'm looking to have a full case, as space isn't a concern anymore. Water cooling may be a possibility, haven't really decided yet.

As far as processors are concerned, I'm thinkign about going AMD, but I've always been an Intel guy.

I need an awesome mobo, just don't know what to get. There are so many choices, and so many bad choices as well.

Any help/links would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Not being a wise guy, but all you are doing is making idle declarations...

Is there a question in there? 😉

I'd say start by deciding which processor you want to go with and then build it from there. If a E6300/6400 look at the 965 mobos. If E6600+ then look to the 570 mobos. If you want AMD then look at their X2 compatible mobos. Once you decide on a proc and mobo then you can decide on which RAM will work best. The rest kinda falls into place.

The thermaltake SViking is a nice case - if you don't want all the bling, then the Rosewill R560x series is the same chassis for less.
But you're the one who has to have to live with your choice, so give us a short list and let us nitpick that.
