So I phoned down to the store this morning about my concern regarding the different benefits between the CNPS-cu 7700 and the CNPS9700. Well I am being told this in comparison to the CNPS9700. Quote from Salesman "Well seeing as you don't have any Ram cooling or Northbridge cooling, This cooler(7700) will be a lot better at helping you overclock. Cooling those components as well as helping your Video card out will help you keep you overall system cooler,a more Stable overclock will be the result. It has a 120mm fan as opposed to the smaller one in the 9700, so it is a lot quieter than the 9700." So do think I am being told the truth here. Both the 9700 and the 7700 are 69.99 canadian so he isn't making more money. Is this guy correct in the 7700 helping the other components out as well?? He says because the 7700 pulls air towards the MOBO it will help cool the Ram, Northbridge and the Gpu. I have been doing some quick research and the 9700 out performs the 7700 by at least 5-7 deg. I need some quick advice on this guys, Please. What do you guys think?? Will I get a more Stable overclock with the 7700 via the added cooling of the Ram and northbridge from the downward direction it pulls the air. Or go with the 9700 and get the coolest Cpu, not worrying about the added cooling of the other components?? Need advice Fast here guys.Thanx
