Need some advice about school

my first term at school is coming to a close, but I feel slightly more scared than when school began, I didn't do so well my first term, I studied my ass off for the last three tests (not including my finals) but my grades came out less than satisfying, I think that I am going to end up (depending on my finals) with 2C's, 1B, and 1A. is this a big deal? the reason that I am so worried is becuase when I read all these college threads I see people saying that when you graduate you employer will look at your grades and I am worried that I have reached the end before the beginning. 🙁

any words of wisdom that can be provided on what your employer did about your grades?

your life is over

just kidding. did you learn anything? if i was going to hire you, i would want you to know how to make me money, not look at your grades from intro level courses

freshman year doesn't really matter.

same as highschool basically.

don't do horrible, but show improvement.

college is a huge huge transition no matter what anybody says...most people recognize this...grad schools/employers...whatever

just gradually improve

Most people don't do so hot their freshman year, don't sweat it. Take more classes and learn more what studying habits work for you. I'm still recovering from my first year of college grades as well, and they were worse than yours IIRC.

Yea I have learned loads of stuff, I don't know how I would make you money though, I am majoring in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on sociology. I am just really stressed out that I had screwed up royaly.
