Need Some Advice About RMAing a Motherboard

Well, my ASUS A8N32-SLi smoked last night. Looks like I cross a Ground with a VCC on the USB connector. Anyways back to the question. The motherboard is only about 1.5 months old. I got it from ZipZoomFly. Do I contact them for the RMA or do I contact ASUS? I found a thing on ASUS's website that said to contact the Reseller for Service. But ZipZoomFly says on their site after 30days contact the manufactor.

And my other question is how long will it take to get a replacement? Should I just got ahead any buy another motherboard and sell the RMA one after I get it back?

Well, I went ahead and ordered another one from MWave.com with FedEx 2nd Day Shipping. I've called ASUS and got an RMA # so I can send it back to get repaired. Then I will sell it once I get it back.

If you made the error that damaged the board. Don't be surprised if Asus rejects a free repair or replacement.

You can try to call up ZZF, but their policy does state after 30 days contact the manufacturer for a replacement. My experience with ASUS RMA(3 boards) were all good ones. It didnt take that long, and now that you have another board anyway, Its not a big deal if it takes a few weeks.
