Ok, bear with me on this request as it may be too over the top, but I'm gonna give you the best explanation I can.

:background: Moved back home from school this weekend, and brought my router home with me. Had XBOX with XBMC set up to access files on my computer, and want to keep it that way.

:dilemma: My parents have a WRT54G router set up right now, I just brought home another WRT54G, both are flashed with DD-WRT firmware. What I want to do is this...Connect the router i just brought home to my parents router, and be able to extend the wireless network. Now I had my xbox with XBMC all set up correctly at school so I could access all the files on my computer. Now I want to be able to set it up so that I have my computer plugged into my WRT54G, which is in turn plugged into my parents WRT54G and be able to access the files on my computer through my xbox (and heres the kicker) which is wired to my laptop that is wirelessly connected to the extended wireless network.

I'll try to simplify it here....

----(WIRED CONNECTION)
~~~(WIRELESS CONNECTION)
XBOX-----LAPTOP~~~~~~WIRELESS ROUTER------WIRELESS ROUTER-----DESKTOP
so i want to be able to access my files from my xbox which passes through a laptop, and two routers
As of right now i just have my computer connected to my router connected to my parents router, but have not fiddled with any of the options in the router control panel.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance
