When you installed it, did you install all of the diskwriter plugins? You can select them in the installer. By default though, Foobar converts to WAV. Just go into the
settings and change it to use the CLI encoder -alt preset standard. After that, you can just load your music files into foobar, select them,
right click and convert->convert.
If you have Nero and the CD writer plug-in installed for Foobar, you can burn any supported audio format to CD too. You can see the option in my second screenshot. I burned a bunch of Super Nintendo spc files to CD just by selecting them in foobar and telling it to burn to disc. All the conversion is handled for you.
