Need sneakers, but which ones?

I'm going to buy a pair of sneakers for kicking around in. I haven't worn sneakers in ten years, but I've noticed the current crop appear to be less garish than I remember. I'm not up on what's available, so recommend me a pair and provide linkage, if possible.

I'd like something low-profile and white in colour.
 
For just kicking around I have some pumas that I really like. I like the k-swiss ones too, but I didn't want complete white so I got the grey pumas. Well enjoyed.

if you're just stomping around i think the shoe of choice is the air force ones.

but you have to have two pair.
 
I have a zillion pairs of sneakers. That is all I wear. I have one in every brand pretty much. My favorite sneakers will always be this one.

They come in a variety of colors. Are comfortable. And this site sells them for SO cheap. You can get it with free shipping and there's a 10% off coupon somewhere. You might want to try them at teh store first and find your size and if you like them. Here's a link for other colors. I'd go for the original jazz style though. I like the nylon suede mix.

Vans are comfortable, even if you don't skate. My buddy has some old school (brand new) Reebok high-tops. Then there are good old Converse All-Stars.
